What you are booking

Restaurant Pacing, in Your Own Dining Room

Private dining is different from meal delivery or drop-off catering. The menu is planned for your specific event, then prepared and served in your home.

The courses, timing, and presentation are considered together so you can stay at the table instead of managing the kitchen during your own celebration.

Built Around Your Evening

The occasion, guest count, food preferences, ingredient restrictions, and preferred style of service shape the menu.

Prepared in Your Home

Your chef prepares the courses in your kitchen so the food can be finished, plated, and served on-site.

Service Through Cleanup

The experience covers kitchen setup, cooking, course service, and complete kitchen cleanup after dinner.

Step by step

From the First Conversation to a Clean Kitchen

Six clear stages take your dinner from advance menu planning through service and final cleanup.

We Discuss Your Dinner

We talk through the occasion, date, guest count, the kind of menu you want, food preferences, ingredient restrictions, and your kitchen setup.

We Plan and Confirm the Menu

Before the event, we create the course plan. You review the menu, request changes, and confirm it before shopping begins.

Groceries Are Purchased

After the menu is confirmed, ingredients are purchased for the dinner and billed separately at receipt cost with no markup.

We Arrive and Set Up

On the event day, the team arrives and organizes the kitchen, ingredients, tools, and service setup before cooking begins.

We Cook, Plate, and Serve

The courses are prepared in your home, plated, and served in the planned sequence while you stay with your guests.

We Clean Up

After the final course, cookware and work surfaces are cleaned and the kitchen is put back in order.

Private Dinner Questions

The details that usually matter most when you are deciding whether in-home private dining fits your event.

What is included in a private dinner service?

The service fee covers consultation, custom menu planning, ingredient shopping, on-site preparation, plated service, and complete kitchen cleanup. Groceries and sales tax are separate.

How are groceries charged?

Groceries are purchased for your confirmed menu and billed separately at receipt cost. The food cost is not marked up.

Can the menu be adjusted for ingredient restrictions?

Share allergies, intolerances, and ingredient restrictions before menu planning. The menu can be adapted where the kitchen environment and service workflow are appropriate; severe allergies should be discussed before booking.

How much does a private dinner cost?

The chef service fee is $1,500 for up to 3 guests, $2,000 for 4–10 guests, and starts at $2,000 for 10+ guests. Sales tax and groceries at cost are additional.

Is this the same as weekly meal prep?

No. A private dinner is a one-time event with courses cooked, plated, and served during the evening. Weekly meal prep prepares several days of food for your refrigerator in one recurring cooking session.
