How much does a private chef for a corporate event in Houston cost?

Corporate dining experiences start at $2,000 for executive dinners (4-10 guests). Larger team events are priced based on guest count, menu complexity, and service style. This includes custom menu planning, premium ingredient sourcing, on-site cooking, plated or family-style service, and complete cleanup. Groceries are billed at cost with receipts — no markup.

What types of corporate events do you cater in Houston?

I handle a wide range: executive dinners entertaining clients or closing deals, holiday appreciation parties, team-building dinners, board meetings with working lunches, retirement celebrations, and product launch events. Many Houston clients in the Energy Corridor, Galleria area, and Downtown book private chef dinners as an alternative to restaurant reservations.

Can you cook at our Houston office or a private venue?

Yes. I cook on-site at your location — whether that's a corporate kitchen, executive boardroom, private home, or rented venue. I've served corporate dinners at homes in River Oaks, Memorial, and Tanglewood, as well as at offices near the Texas Medical Center and Westchase district. I bring all equipment needed and leave the space spotless.

How do you handle dietary restrictions at corporate events?

Corporate groups almost always have mixed dietary needs. I design menus where every guest eats well — accommodating gluten-free, vegan, keto, halal, kosher-style, and allergy restrictions within one cohesive menu rather than making people feel singled out. I send a dietary survey in advance so nothing is missed.

Do you provide service staff for larger corporate events?

For groups of 12 or more, I coordinate professional servers to ensure seamless plated service. For smaller executive dinners (4-10), I handle cooking, plating, and course pacing personally. Wine service and cocktail pairings can also be arranged.

How far in advance should we book a corporate event chef?

I recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead for larger corporate events and holiday season parties. Smaller executive dinners (under 10 guests) can sometimes be arranged with 2-3 weeks notice. December and Q4 are the busiest months for corporate dining in Houston, so plan early.
