Cook
Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large pot. Add the mushrooms and sauté until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.
Add the grated carrot and minced garlic to the pot and sauté for another 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.
Pour in the stock of your choice, and add ginger, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil.
When it starts boiling, add noodles, reduce the heat and cook according to the Noodles package instructions. 3 minutes before the time of cooking is up, add the raw shrimp to the pot and cook for 3 minutes more, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.
Divide the cooked ramen noodles into bowls, and ladle the shrimp and broth over the top. Garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds. You can also serve soft-boiled egg with your ramen. Enjoy!

Yes, you can definitely put shrimp in your ramen noodles! Shrimp is a low-calorie, low-fat source of protein that is rich in nutrients such as vitamin B12, iron, and selenium. It pairs well with the savory broth and adds a nice seafood flavor to the dish.
You can cook the shrimp directly in the broth of the ramen noodles. Simply add the shrimp to the broth during the last few minutes of cooking and let them simmer until they are cooked through.

Yes, serving shrimp ramen soup with a soft-boiled egg is a great idea! Soft-boiled eggs are a classic topping for ramen, and they add a rich and creamy texture to the broth. To make soft-boiled eggs, simply bring a pot of water to a boil, gently lower the eggs into the water, and let them simmer for 6–7 minutes. Then, remove the eggs from the water and run them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Once the eggs are cool enough to handle, gently peel off the shells and slice the eggs in half.
To serve, simply place the soft-boiled egg halves on top of the shrimp ramen, and sprinkle with chopped green onions and cilantro if desired. The runny yolk will mix with the broth and create a rich and delicious flavor.

Yes! Discard the seasoning packet and use just the noodles — the homemade broth in this recipe is far more flavorful and healthier. Cook the instant noodles for about 1 minute less than the package directs, since they’ll continue to soften in the hot broth.
Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil, then gently lower the eggs in with a spoon. Boil for exactly 6½ minutes for a jammy yolk, then immediately transfer to an ice bath for 5 minutes. Peel carefully, slice in half, and place on top of your ramen just before serving.
Absolutely! The broth (without noodles or shrimp) can be made up to 3 days ahead and refrigerated. When ready to serve, bring the broth back to a simmer, cook the noodles and shrimp fresh, and assemble the bowls. The noodles are best cooked right before serving to prevent them from getting soggy.
