Preheate your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Cut off the top of the garlic head to expose the cloves inside. Place the garlic head on a piece of aluminum foil and drizzle it with a little bit of olive oil. Wrap the garlic tightly in the foil and place it in the oven. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the garlic is soft and caramelized.

Remove the garlic from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of the head and into a small bowl. Add the softened butter and chopped parsley to the bowl and mash everything with a fork until it becomes a smooth paste.
